Competitive Tender Launched by AUB – Winning Project

Transforming an engineering lab in Irani Oxy Building to a university cafeteria that provides an informal space that students can eat, drink and relax. Our focus was to enhance the connection with the surrounding campus and seafront view, while still catering for the high in-flux of students and staff within the cafeteria space.

The cafeteria, which is operated by T-Marbouta Restaurant, had to maintain their identity while merging with their new surrounding. Lebanese traditional furniture and window shutters were introduce to create a dynamic space.
